Vision Programs

Lions are known for their service to persons who are blind and visually impaired. This dedicated service began in 1925. During a Lions international convention, Helen Keller, a woman who had been blind and deaf since childhood, challenged Lions to become knights of the blind in this crusade against darkness. Lions accepted Keller's challenge. Read her speech here.
